Welcome to
Pride In Our Work:
A national survey of residential aged care staff and volunteers

What is this survey about?
You are invited to do a survey about supporting residents in residential aged care settings. We want to learn more about how people working, volunteering or visiting residential aged care understand and support people from diverse communities. By doing this survey, you will help us tell aged care organisations and the government what supports workers and volunteers to do their best work. You will also be helping to make residential aged care a more welcoming place for diverse residents, visitors, and staff.
This survey is being done by researchers at La Trobe University and Southern Cross University. It has been approved by the La Trobe University Human Research Ethics Committee (Reference number: HEC25254).

Are there any risks to me?
The survey asks some questions that might make some people feel uncomfortable, or involve remembering things that make you upset. All questions are optional and there is support available if you want to talk. This survey is anonymous - Your answers to the survey questions can't be linked back to you in any way. Your individual answers will not be shared with anyone and will not affect your job or studies in any way. The survey will not collect any information from your computer (e.g. the IP address) that can link back to you. You don't have to do this survey at work. You can do this survey wherever you feel comfortable.
There are no right or wrong answers. We value what you have to say, no matter what experiences you have or what you choose to tell us.
