Thank you for your interest in sharing your story with us. Through a range of focus groups and interviews, this project aims to better understand Australian men’s negotiations of sex, consent, and intimacy.

Due to the particular focus of this study, we are seeking cisgender* heterosexual men and women living in Australia who are aged 18 to 35 years, who have engaged in casual sexual activity in the last five years. In the near future, we hope to do research that is more encompassing of other groups.

This research is conducted by La Trobe University and has been granted ethics approval by the La Trobe University Ethics Committee HEC20110.

To determine if you are eligible to participate please complete this short survey. If you are deemed eligible you will receive an email inviting you to participate in the study from m-sex@latrobe.edu or a.waling@latrobe.edu.au (please check your junk/spam folder!). Please note that depending on the numbers of people who express interest in participating, we may not be able to get back to everyone.

For more information about the study, please visit: www.m-sex.org.

*Cisgender refers to a person who describes their gender in a way that corresponds to the sex they were assigned at birth. For example, a person who describes themselves as male or a man and was assigned male at birth (such as on their original birth certificate).
